ARMS 2020 Program

ARMS 2020 will be held under the theme of “Disrupting the status quo: challenging the research and innovation culture to advance the research enterprise”. 

The program will run over the course of 4 days and include professional development workshops and accreditation, plenary lectures and concurrent sessions.

Pre-Conference Accreditation Modules

Pre-Conference Accreditation Modules can be booked when registering for the Conference (not via the ARMS member portal), or easily added onto your current registration, via the link below.

Accreditation modules are an additional expense to conference fees and are charged at:

Member $415.00

Non-Member $515.00

Please note: a minimum number of 8 participants is required for accreditation modules to run and modules are capped at a maximum of 30 participants.

Module 1.3 Understanding Research and Researchers

The only "soft skills" module in the Foundation level program, Understanding Research and Researchers gives participants a broad understanding of what drives researchers, how to understand and relate to researchers, and covers various models of research.

Module 4.2: Research Integrity

This module will focus on the principles that underpin the policies, processes, and procedures that govern responsible conduct of research. It will look at the ways in which your role as a research administrator or manager relates to research integrity and what to do if you are faced with a research integrity challenge. Importantly, the module will also cover how research managers and administrators can play a role in strengthening an organisation’s culture of research integrity.
