ARMS 2020 ANNUAL CONFERENCE - POSTPONED

It is with great regret that, due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have made the tough decision to postpone the onsite delivery of the ARMS 2020 Annual Conference Perth.

All registrations of delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors will be transferred to the 2021 Conference. We are currently working on confirming the 2021 Conference delivery at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Further information will be communicated once confirmed.

We wish to thank everyone for their ongoing support and flexibility in this forever changing landscape. Together we are committed to delivering a spectacular conference in 2021 and hope you can join us!

The health and wellbeing of our delegates, partners and suppliers is our key priority

WELCOME

The Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) annual conference is the premier event for Research Management Professionals in Australasia and Singapore.

We are pleased to host the ARMS 2020 Conference in Perth, Western Australia, the gateway to Asia and Australia’s only Capital City situated on the Indian Ocean Rim.

Perth’s superb position on the banks of the Swan River and nearby hectares of natural bushland in Kings Park, as well as some of the world’s most pristine beaches, make for a city centred on the great outdoors. But there’s more to the west coast capital than great sunshine and a sparkling river. A new cosmopolitan perspective and economic growth has given Perth a cultural confidence which is making its mark on the city skyline and on other aspects of urban life.

The theme of the ARMS 2020 Perth Conference is “Disrupting the status quo: challenging the research and innovation culture to advance the research enterprise”.  We invite you to join us and fellow colleagues from across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and globally at the ARMS 2020 Perth Conference from 22-25 September 2020.

The conference will build on the outstanding programs of previous years and will deliver a novel and exciting program of knowledge sharing, networking and presentations by inspiring leaders and innovators in the research environment.

Here are three reasons to attend ARMS 2020:

  1. A conference program that will challenge you to think outside the box
  2. The opportunity to engage in a range of sessions and interactive forums
  3. To take advantage of the facilitated networking and meet peers working across a huge range of research enterprise functions at national and international organisations

And if that’s not enough to convince you, we will also be offering optional add-ons to the main conference program including: Perth and surrounds site visits, professional development workshops, ARMS Foundation Level Accreditation modules and social/networking events throughout the week!

We also encourage you to stay on in WA for the weekend to explore some of our amazing coastline and experience some of the 3000 hours of sunshine Perth enjoys annually.

Join us in Perth!

Ashleigh Roberts and Tara McLaren, Conference Co-Convenors
